Above is a Pentacon F, also branded Contax F. A history lesson of a camera - the name Pentacon is the combination of the term pentaprism and name Contax. There were a handful of companies implementing the pentaprism in this era. The Pentacon F was released in the 1956, but the first camera use of the pentaprism was developed in the 30s and 40s. It’s been an essential part of slr’s through out camera history
